Tour Meeting at the Colorado State University New Biology & Chemistry Buildings
April 20 at 3:00 pm - 5:00 p.m. MDT
I2SL is an international organization looking to the sustainable high-technology building industry to enrich and build upon existing resources that support the creation and maintenance of sustainable laboratories and other high-tech buildings.
Please plan on joining us for a tour of the two new science buildings at Colorado State University on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. The New Chemistry Building, only 60,000 sq.ft. in size, has the highest fume hood density compared to any other building in the region and solely intended for research. With approximately 35,000-40,000 sq.ft. of lab space within this building, it is planned for 125 fume hoods. The building is being performed as a Design-Bid-Build project. The New Biology Building, approximately 150,000 sq.ft. is being built adjacent to the New Chemistry Building and will finish at the same time. This building serves both undergraduate and graduate students and includes teaching labs, research labs, offices and auditorium space. This building is being performed as a Design/Build Lump Sum Project.
Following the tour meeting, a complimentary reception sponsored by Haldeman Homme, Inc. will be held at Fort Collins Brewery.
